Record

The record, losers included.

Every read we publish ends up here: wins, losses, scratches and the days we chose not to publish. How it is counted is written out below, so you can check us.

Headline figures

Past and hypothetical performance. Results are measured from the levels each read published, not from anyone's actual trades. They are hypothetical, assume x% risk per read, and leave out spreads, commissions, slippage and swap. Past performance is not a reliable indicator of future results, and nobody following a read should expect the same outcome.

Methodology

How the outcomes are measured.

Every call is recorded
Each read enters the record the moment it is published, with its time stamp. Nothing is added later and nothing is taken out.
Losers stay in
A stopped-out read is counted in full. Reads are never re-labelled, re-dated or quietly removed, and the review of each loss is linked from the record.
Measured from the published levels
A read counts as entered when price trades through its published entry. It exits at the stop, the target or the time of a published closing note, whichever comes first.
Pips before costs
Results are in pips, before spread, commission, slippage and overnight swap. Real trading costs would make every result worse.
Scratches and no-read days
A read closed at entry, or one that never triggered, is a scratch. It is counted, but not as a win. No-read days are logged with their reason.
Drawdown at a fixed risk
Drawdown and percentage figures assume x% of a notional account at risk on every read, compounded, peak to trough.
Checked from outside
The record and its source time stamps are reviewed by an independent accountant every x months. The latest letter is on request in the channel.

Hypothetical performance. These results were not achieved by any real account. They are calculated from published levels and have inherent limits: they do not reflect the effect of costs, the execution a follower would actually get, or the decisions a person makes under pressure. Past performance, real or hypothetical, is not a reliable indicator of future results.
